Who We Are
Established late in the eighties, the Black Peace Officers Association (BPOA) of Los Angeles County is a non-profit coalition of law enforcement and public service professionals dedicated to community outreach, professional development, and positive police/community relations that include forums, workshops, seminars, and training.
BPOA is also a member of the National Black Police Association (NBPA), an organization based in Washington D.C. chartered in 1972, representing more than 35,000 law enforcement officers across the nation. BPOA also affiliates with the National Organization of Black law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE).
